February 2, 2019, 10:37 pm REPLYHello. Love the eFOLDi! One thing that concerns me is the air filled tyres. What does one do if a puncture occurs away from home?
Any chance of a version coming out with solid tyres?
Is the 2017 Mark 1.5 differ from the 2016 model?
Anticipating your reply.
Many thanks,
Pammie

March 14, 2019, 6:02 pm REPLYHello Pammie. Sorry for late response. You can if you wish opt for the puncture-proofing gel option. This is a gel that is inserted into the tyres and if a puncture occurs the gel solidifies in the hole and stops air from being released. For the moment this is a requested option with order only, but the next batch will have the gel inserted during manufacture. For real security its always advisable to get a breakdown cover plan just in case.

August 3, 2019, 11:28 am REPLYReceived my E Foldi yesterday and really pleased with it. Once you get the hang of assembling it, which doesn’t take long. I would like to comment on the back cushioning which is really poor. The cross bar at the top of the back rest really hurts your upper back. I have place a flat cushion on the back support and it is now comfortable

January 12, 2020, 6:23 pm REPLYRoy Dixon’s kind reply is helpful but concerning. These are seriously expensive and you should NOT have to cart an extra cushion around…and are there lights for winter? I am still thinking about getting an efoldi but i have to be sure i can handle erecting it and stowing it on my own, including the long distance battery.

March 9, 2020, 1:49 pm REPLYThank you Val. It is fact that only some find the back of the seat slightly uncomfortable. This sometimes depends on rider position where some ride upright and do not touch the back of the seat while others may lean back while riding. A minority of the latter may find the bar a little uncomfortable. We do offer a cushion that if required, fits snuggly onto the back of the seat and also allows for the eFOLDi to be folded while still in place. It is also very lightweight. Equally, a small inexpensive length of foam pipe insulation wrapped over the bar can quickly alleviate any discomfort. The eFOLDi does come with bright and effective LED front and rear lights, brake lights and hazard warning lights. The long range battery weighs a minuscule 1.8kgs (3.9Lbs).
